2025 President’s Letter

Dear BHSC Members,
The Burton Hollow Swim Club (BHSC) Board is delighted to welcome back our returning members and their families for another season of summer fun, activities, and relaxation. We also extend a warm welcome to our new members and look forward to integrating you into the BHSC community, where friendships and cherished memories are made.

Work Bee Opportunities
To prepare for the 2025 season, we encourage members to participate in Work Bee opportunities to earn their $100 refund. Work Bee events are scheduled for Saturday, April 26, and Saturday, May 10. https://www.signupgenius.com/
Additional opportunities will be communicated throughout the season as needed.
Tennis Court Reconstruction Committee
The Board is exploring options to fully reconstruct the tennis courts with minimal disruption to members. We invite interested members to join a committee dedicated to developing a proposal for this project. If interested, please contact Dan at grounds@burtonhollowswim.com.
Lifeguard Staffing
Club Manager Ashlyn Doner, along with the Human Resources Committee, is working to retain returning lifeguards and hire new staff. Our longtime manager, Melissa Flannigan, will support Ashlyn in the transition but will not be serving as a lifeguard this season.
2025 Club Calendar & Hours
The Club plans to open on Friday, May 23rd, at 12:00 p.m. (weather and staffing permitting) and will remain open through Labor Day, Monday, September 1st.

Membership & Check-In Procedures
All members must check in through MemberSplash to ensure access is restricted to paid members only. Please ensure your family’s information is up to date. If you need assistance adding more than 2 adults, contact Becky at membership@burtonhollowswim.
Guest Policy
Guest fees must be paid at the front desk upon arrival or prepaid through MemberSplash. Credit and debit card payments are expected to be available by opening day. All guests must wear a wristband while on club premises and complete an online insurance waiver once per summer. Filling out the guest waiver before you arrive at the club is strongly encouraged to avoid delays and unnecessary backups at check-in.
Swim Team & Lessons
The Burton Hollow Dolphins will compete in the Summer Independent Swim League, with the first meet on Thursday, June 19th, and the season concluding on Saturday, July 26th at the League Meet, hosted at Newburgh. Further details and registration information will be shared soon.
Swim lessons will be available for members’ children and those on our waitlist. Payment for each two-week session is required in advance via MemberSplash. The schedule, session details, and payment options will be posted on our website closer to the start of the season.
Membership Dues & Transfers
Membership dues must be paid online by April 1st. If you plan to sell your membership, please complete the online transfer form promptly to allow new members to join in a timely manner.
